NOTE

Lectures will end on October 10, 1997.

A written examination consisting in a multiple choice test will be held on October 15, 1997.

During the course the students will be asked to prepare a short essay on a subject proposed by the teachers of the course and to present the results of this bibliographic research during a morning in October (10 minutes presentation).
The essay will contribute with the multiple choice test to the final evaluation of the students.

Guidelines for the preparation of the literature reviews

Students will be asked to produce a written essay on one topic of personal interest chosen among those proposed. For initial assistance the student can contact the person responsible for the topic (see annex).

The written test will be a maximum of 10 pages long including a list of 25 to 30 relevant references. The deadline for written essay will be Monday, September 29. The essay should be handwritten or typewritten in English.

The students will also be asked to give a 10 min. oral presentation on the contents of their reviews. The presentations will take place on October 7th in the afternoon and on October 8th in the evening. The presentations will be informal and provide a good occasion for discussion among the students and examiners. The written essay will contribute to the final evaluation together with the multiple choice test.
