Elizabeth Corey, WHO Department of Reproductive Health and Research

Elizabeth Corey is an intern at the WHO in the division of Reproductive Health and Research. She is a second-year medical student at the University of Wisconsin in the United States. Elizabeth graduated with the highest honors from Lawrence University with a BA in Biology in 2008. After college, she obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Global Health from Emory University. Elizabeth has conducted qualitative research on the future roles of Trained Traditional Birth Attendants (TTBAs) in rural Zambia. She also interned for two years at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, GA as an Assistant Policy Analyst.
