Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Menofyia University, Egypt Menofyia University is located 70 kilometer north to Cairo, the capital of Egypt. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Menofyia Faculty of Medicine in Egypt consists of 60 beds divided into 3 units, each is headed by a professor. Specialized care is available for all Ob/Gyn cases in the 3 units. Such care includes Maternal Fetal medicine, General Gynecology, Gynecologic oncology, a urogynecology unit in collaboration with the department of Urology. We are hoping to develop 1 more specialized units of Reproductive Endocrinology. There is a flow rate of emergency cases around 40 cases daily, the majority of these are obstetric. We are keen at the department to allow most of the junior staff to have Euroean/American/Australian exposure to the various branches of Obstetrics and Gynecology while they prepare their doctorate degree. We are trying to have strong links with specialized institutions and societies abroad in order to allow exchanging experiences and mutual benefits. Mohamed Kandeel - Curriculum Vitae Presentations
