I wish that my welcome may reach as many people as possible. It is not only the welcome of Don Luigi, but it is the greeting of the whole family of San Raffaele. I wanted that the voice of those devoting themselves on the cure and the knowledge of Man as a whole, according to his bio-psycho-spiritual components, could raise even on such a powerful tool as Internet.
I have always regarded the hospital as an integrated complex, able to move at fully play in research, help, and teaching, because Man is the centre of our cares and medicine, research and teaching are tools in our hands for helping Man.
In these pages you will find all that you are looking for about the health of man: the wing of San Raffaele flies and welcomes all of you with this novel concept of medicine and scientific research: the concept of Man. An innovative concept which for us is medicine, research and teaching of quality at the highest level, because their deepest origin is in the urgent christian imperative:"Sanare infirmos-heal the sick".
