Dear Member,
With this letter we invite the National Sections in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America, to name candidates for the IAMANEH Scholarship 2004 to participate in the « Postgraduate Training in Reproductive Health Course », which will take place in Geneva, Switzerland.
The IAMANEH Scholarship is aimed at physicians or biologists working
in the field of Reproductive Health from the above mentioned continents,
where National Sections of IAMANEH are active. The candidates applying for
a scholarship will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee, and then informed
on their acceptance to the Course, which starts on 23 February 2004.

IAMANEH will offer a scholarship in the amount of CHF 4,000, which will cover accommodation and part of living costs in Geneva.
In addition, we wish to receive a statement from the candidate, indicating
- area of interest for a research project in one of the following
topics:
- research methodology in reproductive health
- basic phathophysiologic principles in human reproduction
- genetics
- family planning
- infertility, gynecological endocrinology and menopause
- genital infections/sexually transmitted infections and cancers
- obstetrics
- in which way the gained knowledge helps the candidate to improve maternal and infant health in his/her country.
