Dear Members,

With this letter we invite the National Sections in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America, to name candidates for the IAMANEH Scholarship 2006 to participate in the Training Course in Research in Reproductive Health which will take place from 20 February to 29 March 2006 in Geneva, Switzerland.

The IAMANEH Scholarship is aimed at physicians working in the field of Reproductive Health from the above mentioned continents, where National Sections of IAMANEH are active. The applications for scholarships will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and the selected candidates will be informed upon their acceptance to the Course shortly after.

IAMANEH offers a scholarship in the amount of CHF 4'000 per participant, which will cover accommodation and part of living costs in Geneva.

In addition, we would like to receive a statement from the candidate, indicating

area of interest for a research project in one of the following topics:
- research methodology in reproductive health
- family planning
- infertility, gynaecological endocrinology and menopause
- genital infections/sexually transmitted infections and cancers
- obstetrics
in which way the gained knowledge helps the candidate to improve maternal and infant health in his/her country.

Deadline for applications is 15 November 2006.
