When you have completed this unit you should be able to:
1. Define the normal range of gestational age.
2. List the complications of preterm and post term infants.
3. Define the normal range of weight at birth.
4. Divide infants into groups by gestational age and weight.
5. List the causes and complications of underweight and overweight for
gestational age infants.
6. Recognize the signs of wasting.
7. List the complications of wasted infants.
