My name is Nabiha Al-abhar .from Yemen. I am a gynecologist and obstetrician consultant with professional interest in reproductive health programs management and research. My main areas of interest are public health aspects of maternal, newborn and adolescent health.
I was born in Kuwait where I finished high school, then I joined the University in KSA and Yemen, and I hold the Arab board diploma in gynecology and obstetrics.
I practiced medicine in general hospital in Sana’a for 14 years then I shifted to the Ministry of Health, where I ran the administration of reproductive health.
Currently I am working as a consultant in Obstetrics & Gynecology with governmental and non-governmental organizations and institutions. I contribute through papers and presentations in workshops, focusing on early marriage and pregnancies.
I am a member of Yemen Women Union and National Union of Safe Motherhood.
