I am an obstetrics and gynecology physician working in a government maternity center in Guatemala City. My general functions include: assistance of women in labor and delivery, attendance of emergency, hospitalized and out-patients, promotion of sexual and reproductive health, STD screening, pre- and postnatal care, cervical cancer screening, family planning and training of medical and paramedical staff (doctors, nurses, undergraduate students and midwifes).
