Ameyo Bonventure Masakhwe is a physician by profession. He has served in the capacity of medical officer in Lodwar, in the northern part of Kenya. He is motivated by research especially if it transforms discovery into delivery that further strengthens primary care with attendant increase in universal health coverage especially to the marginalized populations. He is also passionate about health literacy amongst women of reproductive age. He is currently pursuing emergency and essential care at Università degli Studi di Parma, Italy.
