I am Adanikin Abiodun, a Senior Registrar in the department of obstetrics and gynaecology of Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. I had my MBBS in 2004 and also, currently running a part-time master programme in public health. I have special interest in Sexual and Reproductive health.
Presently I provide clinical care to patients with various obstetric and gynaecologic problems, including those affected by sexually transmitted infections and HIV/AIDS. I actively participate in the prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV infection. I am involved in promotion of interaction and dialogue among antenatal care attendees on issues of HIV/AIDS which include prevention, mitigating impact and engendering behaviour change.
