I am a 22 year old recent medical graduate interested in the field of reproductive health research. I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Medical Sciences & Technology (UMST) in Khartoum in 2010. During this period I was awarded several achievement awards, including Best Overall Performance five years in a row. One such award was for my graduation thesis, which was in the field of pediatric nephrology. I also completed an undergraduate research project in 2008 on reproductive physiology. I am currently an intern research assistant at the Reproductive and Child Health Research Unit at UMST. I am also peer reviewer and editorial board member at several international medical student journals.
