My name is “Nabil” my family name is “Paktin” , completed my primary and secondary high school at Kabul in 1999 , due to my keen desire in medicine I passed the National exam of entrance succeeded to Balkh Faculty of Medicine at 2000 and graduated at 2007 as a MD . I passed the entrance specialty National Exam of Postgraduate program at 2008 in principle of Cardiovascular, Pulmonology and critical Care, I Graduated as specialist in this field at 2011.

Due to my higher academic score in faculty and postgraduate time, I was selected for Postgraduate/specialty trainer’s national Exam and I passed this exam as a lecturer/trainer specialist of Cardiovascular postgraduate program in MOPH specialty program.

I am elected as first Afghan fellow of American College of Cardiology by ACCF board, as a MD FACC in 2011.

I am elected as First Afghan specialist member of Heart rhythm society in 2009.

I institutionalized for the first time Afghanistan Cardiology Association in 2009, a nonprofit specialty association and run Cardiological CME for the first time in medical profession.

Beside of my keen interest in medicine, I am a journalist, I worked as editor, producer, director and writer in Center for international journalism and Inter news, and several daily and journals in Afghanistan, Kabul.
