I have been actively involved in the training of healthcare workers and other relevant people in GBV, SPRINT, and Essential Obstetric Care, and the training of midwives at the University of Goroka in Eastern Highlands Province, collaborating with UNFPA and WHO. Currently I am piloting the use of Visual Inspection of the cervix using acetic acid (VIA) to screen for cervical cancer at my hospital, and I am one of the co-investigators with researchers at the Papua New Guinea Institute of Medical Research, in a VIA study, a pregnancy loss study and other studies yet to be carried out.

I have been officially appointed by the Secretary of the Ministry of Health to be a member of the Papua New Guinea National Cancer Control Policy Advisory/Working Committee.

I am a member of the Papua New Guinea Society of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, the Pacific Society of Sexual and Reproductive Health and an Associate Member of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists.
