I am a Consultant OBGYN working with the Federal Capital Territory Administration in Abuja, Nigeria. I graduated from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria in 1998 as medical doctor. I started my residency training in Obstetrics and Gynae at Ahmad Bello University Teaching Hospital Zaria in 2002. I went into this speciality because of my desire to improve women's health in the North. During my practice I actively became involved in research after I became a senior register with the population and reproductive health initiative (PHRI) of the University where I was able to publish research work done with them and also personally.
