Mr. Given Chisanga, MBA (awaited); BADS; Dip Clin. Med. is a Health Technical Officer with over 10 years working experience with USAID/NGOs and Public Health Programs. I am skilled and experienced to ably provide technical expertise and supervision in the management of pediatric, adolescent and adult HIV/AIDS, Reproductive Health, eMTCT (Option B+), TB/HIV and Male Circumcision programs and other related activities. I have experience in coordinating and establishment of adolescent health services for children born with HIV/AIDS surviving in to adolescent stage. In addition, to effectively mentor and supervise health activities in over 150 facilities and effectively train over 300 health care workers, I constantly attend clinical meetings, seminars, screen patients and read materials related HIV/AIDS, TB, PMTCT, Male circumcision, Malaria etc. The technical skills, updated knowledge and supervisory abilities have enabled me deliver the capacity building function of both health workers and community volunteers.

Currently, I’m working for FHI/ZPCT II Bridge as a Provincial Clinical Care Officer for Northern and Muchinga Provinces. I provide technical assistance to over 85 facilities across the two provinces in Pediatric and adult HIV/AIDS management.

English is my native language in Zambia. I’m currently pursuing Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and in possession of a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Developmental studies (BADS) and a Diploma in Clinical Medical Sciences.
