I was born in India in 1967. I did my MBBS and MD (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) degrees from Nagpur University India in the years 1988 and 1993 respectively. I did MPH from University of Florida in 2011. I worked as a lecturer and associate professor in India before I moved to the Bahamas in 2000. I have been working in the university of the West Indies School of Clinical Medicine and Research as a lecturer since then. My work involves undergraduate and postgraduate teaching as well as patient care. My research interests are maternal health, adolescent and health outcomes.
