Mr Zemedu Mehamed was born on the 19th February 1986. He graduated from Haramaya University with Bachelor of Science in Public Health officer and MPH with Specialty of Epidemiology and Biostatistics in 2007 and 2012 respectively. He has more than 8 years work experience in different organizations. After one year work experience as junior public health officer in Chencha hospital he joined Arba Minch University Department of Public Health. In Arba Minch University he severed as Community Based Health Training Program coordinator, members of Arba Minch Zuriya Demographic and Health Survey research team, as researcher and lecture of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Currently he is the monitoring and Evaluation officer of a Primary Health Care Program and Cervical Cancer Screening Treatment project of Doctors with Africa CUAMM. In this position, he is primarily responsible for coordinating of the overall data management, monitoring and evaluation activities conducted by the projects, preparing of project monitoring plan and plan and conduct baseline, midterm and final evaluation. Concerning to his professional competence; he is more familiar with health care system with is challenges and opportunity and existing and emerging public health major problems. Zemedu is competent by using different statistical software and epidemiological study design. He has also received several certificates from different in-country trainings. He is committed in discharging his effort to avert the public health problem of community through problem solving research and coordination skill in collaboration with NGO, Government sector and external donor.
