Currently I am the director of a community health empowerment organization and a member of health insurance board members of Care Children’s Centre.
I am Fred Musoke, I was born on 11/10/1967 in the village called Kasana Kiwoko. Then in 1972 I started my schooling but during the war of 1982 – 1986 my studies became difficult. I continued afterwards.
Then after my studies I joined New hope Uganda (Child care) as estate assistant. Thereafter I joined Kiwoko Hospital as a community health worker (CHW) where I became a trainer for community based health workers after one year.
I also undertook a course in HIV/AIDS, obtaining a certificate upon completion as a councilor. I was selected to join Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau where I obtained a certificate after a course in training of trainers. From there I was posted to Ngoma sub county as program coordinator by Kiwoko Hospital. I joined distance health learning through the District Director of health services Luwero and obtained three certificates: Immunisation and Nutrition, Environmental Healthy, Community Capacity Building.
Later, I joined Nakasongola Health centre IV as UNEPI coordinator. I have worked in Namusaale Health centre II as Nursing Assistant after which I joined Healthy Vine Trust as a program coordinator.
I am a member of White Ribbon Alliance.
