I am Nima Wangmo, age 24 from Haa Bhutan. After completion of class 12 in 2012, I have joined the Royal institute of Health sciences under Royal University of Bhutan in 2013 and completed the two years course in 2015. Then I started working as health assistant in Gomdar BHU I under Samdrup Jongkhar. As a primary health worker, my job responsibility mainly focuses on preventive, promotive and curative aspects of health at community level.
As a female health assistant, I am mostly working in MCH (Mother and Child Health) unit. We target 100% institutional delivery and achieved 94% in 2016; child immunization coverage in 2016 was 100%.
