Why integrating FP with HIV and MCH services? Family planning helps HIV positive women avoid transmitting HIV to partners and children, prevents unintended pregnancy and avoid stress, it is convenient for clients and minimizes the loss of opportunity, since most of the clients who are coming for MCH are on their reproductive age group and the prevalence of HIV is more in younger women in Ethiopia. This means there is a great opportunity to link women to FP service and satisfy their reproductive goal and intention.
