Evaluation for the first week will be through a set of questions that will be sent to participants on the 11th of November , which should be completed and the answers sent back on the 13th of November.
- Participants could access OMIM on http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/omim.
Write their option in the search window, for example : sickle cell anemia, choose the first option ‘603903. SICKLE CELL ANEMIA’ a description of the condition will show. Sometimes a summary of the condition can be seen when clicking on ‘clinical synopsis’.
- Another reference to conditions can be accessed through geneclinics at http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/GeneTests/review?db=genetests and a review of a disease for example ‘achondroplasia’ can be searched for by writing the name of the disease in the relevant search box, then click ‘reviews’.
