Chukwuemeka Ekwelem was born on the 31st July 1979. He graduated from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Nigeria in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Biochemistry and is presently undertaking a Masters Degree in Public Health in the Atlantic International University, Hawaii. He commenced his career with the Catholic Diocese of Ogoja where he served as HIV/AIDS program officer (M&E). He joined FHI360 in the then GHAIN project as M&E officer and grew to senior M&E officer in Edo State. He also worked with MEASURE Evaluation from September 2013 to January 2015 as State Monitoring & Evaluation Advisor for Anambra State Nigeria. He is currently the Co-ordinator of Centre for Development Research and Adolescent Health (CEDRAH) where he doubles as an M&E Specialist. He is married with children.
