Ms. Diksha Sapkota was born on 18 December 1987 in Kathmandu, Nepal. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2009 with an oncology major. She has worked as a ward sister in various departments of medical colleges. Besides that she also worked as an HIV counselor for more than a year. To further her dreams to work on community with people for people, she added a Master’s degree in Public Health and completed it with distinction in 2013. She held the position of Coordinator of Bachelor in Public Health (Ist semester) in a private college (December 2013- December 2014). Currently, she is working as a lecturer in the Department of Nursing at Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences. Besides that she is also working as an independent researcher in various projects. She believes that change starts from a point. She is determined to draw a line from that point, provided with sound knowledge supplemented by her experience.
