On 17 July 2025, I successfully defended my Doctor of Medicine thesis at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Bamenda, Cameroon. My research, “Clinical Profile, Treatment, and Outcomes of Atrial Fibrillation at the Regional Hospital Bamenda,” explored the patterns, management approaches, and short-term results of care for this significant cardiovascular condition in hospitalised patients.
This work highlights important gaps and opportunities in atrial fibrillation management in Cameroon, contributing evidence that can guide better diagnosis, treatment, and patient outcomes.
This achievement is the result of years of dedication, perseverance, and collaboration. I am deeply grateful to my mentors for their expert guidance, my colleagues for their constant support, and the GFMER community for providing a platform that fosters excellence in global health research.
I remain committed to advancing evidence-based cardiovascular care and contributing to impactful medical research that improves health outcomes in my community and beyond.
