I joined the vice president’s office to witness and document the flag-off of PROJECT ASHA, an empowerment initiative for grassroots women in advancing, sustainable heritage and autonomy for women. This project is coordinated by the Presidential Committee on Economic and Financial Inclusion in partnership with the GEEP (Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme). With the support of all the partners, 200,000 women will be financially and technologically empowered to benefit from the project’s pilot phase.
