Campaign to promote the Sexo Santé App in 24 regions (urban display), Tunisia - Khawla Sassi

The National Office for Family and population Tunisia, with the support of UNFPA launched the campaign to promote the Sexo Santé App in 24 regions (urban display).

The National Office for Family and Population created the Mobile App in the implementation of an out of school comprehensive sexuality education.

The solution was designed, piloted and implemented with the full participation and engagement of young people from many districts of the country.

It gives information on the CSE components, includes a menstruations calendar, a quiz, updates and gives information on existing SRH youth friendly centers.

With more than 32800 uploads in few months, the profile of users is very diverse with a gender balance and includes users form the Tunisia (80%) but also from Morocco, Algeria and France (20%) as the App was promoted through many influencers in social Network.

In terms of accessibility, the mobile app can be used on offline version, includes many audio-visual materials with subtitles and was translated to French.

In complementarity with this solution, we are working on implementing out of schools CSE programs targeting furthest left behind groups such as Persons with Disabilities, Migrants, LGBTIQ groups and Sex Workers.

I’m so glad and very grateful for the success because I’m helping to combat myths and the misconception about sexual and reproductive health for young people and I’m project Manager and founder of the free app mobile.
