UNFPA Moldova and Swiss Cooperation in Moldova

After 18 months of implementation of the project "Strengthening social cohesion in Moldova through dialogue and community empowerment", over 3,300 people from the Republic of Moldova have demonstrated that dialogue can build trust, solidarity and real solutions for communities.

Today, at the Social Cohesion Forum, organized in Chisinau, we bring to the fore these results:

• young people and seniors who have learned to listen to each other and collaborate
• community initiatives that have united people from different backgrounds
• dialogue spaces that have transformed ideas into actions

The project is funded by Switzerland (Swiss Cooperation in Moldova) and implemented by UNFPA in partnership with UNDP Moldova and other local partners such as CASMED and HelpAge Moldova.

Beyond the numbers, the change is simple and profound: more trust between people.
