GFMER training course in female genital mutilation 2023: Orientation session for coaches

The maiden edition of the 4-week online training course in female genital mutilation 2023, ‘A public health approach to addressing female genital mutilation’ commenced on 22 March 2023. The course is organized by the Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research in collaboration with the Department of Sexual and Reproductive Health & Research, World Health Organization (WHO).

To prepare coaches for the course, an orientation session was held on Wednesday 22 March with the course organizers and facilitators from WHO, Dr Wisal Ahmed, Dr Vernon Oyaro and Dr Christina Pallitto.
