Country-level expert consultation on updating WHO guidelines on preventing child marriage, responding to the needs of married girls, and increasing access to and uptake of contraception among adolescents. The meeting was organized by the Maternal and Child Health Division (MCHD) of the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research Bangladesh (icddr,b) with financial and technical support from the World Health Organization (WHO). The meeting was benefitted by the suggestions from 17 eminent professionals with expertise in child marriage and adolescent contraception, which included policy makers, researchers, program managers, and development partners.
