I am a highly motivated professional with a good clinical background in neonatology and pediatric intensive care. I am very interested in the work related with the achievement of the IV Millennium Development Goal (improving child health/reduction of infant mortality), especially the implementation of evidence-based practices in developing countries. I am currently working with an international database on maternal and perinatal health and exploring the neonatal near miss concept as a tool to improve the quality of neonatal care.
