Dragana Perencevic, Masters Degree in European Studies

Dragana Perencevic holds a Master’s degree in European Studies (Economics, Politics and Societies) from the University of Geneva. She obtained her Masters degree after a successful Bachelor’s degree in sociology. During her bachelor studies, Ms. Perencevic’s focus was migration, women’s place in society in developing countries and the political and social problems in her country Croatia. She wrote her bachelors dissertation about media coverage of the Civil War in Yugoslavia.
During her Master studies Ms. Perencevic opened her horizons into pluridisciplinary studies (politics, economics, culture and sociology). She wrote her dissertation about poverty und unemployment in Europe.
Ms. Perencevic joined GFMER in October 2013. She is collaborating in different projects of the Foundation, such as training and sexual and reproductive rights. She is planning to enrich her knowledge and expertise in migrant women’s rights, consequences of war on family, etc.
