Born and raised on the island of Oahu in Hawaii, Ms Marion Hayden moved to New Zealand to study Psychology at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch. With a background in Religious Studies, Sociology and Psychology, Marion finished her degree in Melbourne, Australia. With an avid interest in the psychological implications of Violence, Marion became an education officer to educate young women about violence and its prevalence among women.
Finishing her Masters in Counseling in Geneva, Switzerland, she continues to work with young adults in the education field, giving special lectures on youth and violence, as well as working on personal conflict and difficulties. With a passion for post conflict populations and communication, Marion hopes to integrate her background in international relations and psychology to assist in promoting both a community's right and an individual's right for choice, stability and change.
