Participant to the Training Course in Reproductive Health Research - Geneva 2008
I am a young Brazilian medical doctor in Obstetrics and Gynecology. I have just finished my training program, at the Woman’s Hospital of the University of Campinas (UNICAMP). One of my main professional interests is the implementation of best practices under the public health perspective. During my residency training I have been progressively more involved with the study of maternal morbidity and mortality, emergency care and public policies. This fact made me apply for the postgraduate studies (Master of Sciences) and then I am currently developing a research proposal in this area at UNICAMP.
My main motivation to join the Reproductive Health Course is to learn how to get the best answer for the population questions, since the beginning of my career.
