My primary qualification is in community health, and between 2000 and 2002, I worked as a Community Health Officer, manning peripheral health units to provide preventative and curative services to the rural poor communities in Sierra Leone. I later became member of the Tonkolili District Health Management Team serving in the capacities of Disease surveillance Officer and M&E officer II.
After my postgraduate studies (MPH-Staffordshire University; MSc in IPHN-Westminster University) in the United Kingdom, I was offered an expatriate job with a UK consultancy firm (OPTIONS CONSULTANCY SERVICES UK LTD) to provide technical support to the DFID-funded Reproductive & Child Health (2010-2013) in Sierra Leone.
I am currently the Programme Coordinator of the OPTIONS CONSULTANCY-implemented and DFID-funded ”Improving Reproductive, Maternal & Newborn Health (IRMNH)” Programme (2013-2016) in Sierra Leone.
