Dr Olusegun Adeoye was born on the 21st December, 1976 in Lagos State, Nigeria. He graduated from the Premier University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 2005 with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and obtained a post graduate Masters Degree in Public Health from University of Brighton, UK in 2009.

He held a position as World Bank Technical Consultant to National Malaria Control Programme (NMCP) LLIN campaign from 2009 to 2011 and is currently a Health Specialist and consultant to the World Bank $240,000,000 HPDP2 funding support to Nigerian HIV Programme, in which capacity he has made significant contributions to support achievement of Project Development Objectives and given technical support at both National and subnational levels to National HIV AIDS Control Agency (NACA) and State HIV AIDS Control Agency (SACA).

He is also the first Programme Manager of Society of Gynaecology and Obstetrics of Nigeria (SOGON) and has made significant contributions to support the organization in its capacity improvement and Health system strengthening.

He has experience in Malaria, HIV AIDS, Health Systems Strengthening, Maternal and Reproductive Health and function in leadership roles in various community efforts. He has widely travelled and is happily married with two awesome sons.

During his undergraduate course, he was involved in social development and was the founder and first president of Osun State Medical Students Association in University of Ibadan.

His hobbies are: football (watching and playing), keeping pets and reading.
