Mr. Hamid Yimam Hassen was born on the 25th January, 1990. He graduated from Hawassa University, Ethiopia in 2011 with Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Addis Ababa University School of Public Health in 2014. He held the position of Graduate Assistant at Mizan Tepi University, Ethiopia (September 2011 - September 2012). Currently he is a lecturer at Mizan Tepi University, Ethiopia delivering different public health courses including biostatistics, epidemiology and research methodology. In addition, he is the community attachment coordinator for department of public health.
He actively participates in various research and community service activities in the university as a principal investigator and project team member. He also participates in several health system researches outside the university.
