I am a public health professional working for Marie Stopes International Ethiopia as Program Officer of Family Planning/Reproductive Health services in Bale Zone, South East Ethiopia.

I graduated from Haramaya University in post basic public health as Senior Public Health Professional. I had also obtained a Diploma in Clinical Nursing from Asella College of Health Sciences. Currently, as a working professional, I am pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) at Meda Walabu University.

Previously, I have worked at district public health facilities (1 August 2002 to 30 June 2012) in different professional capacities (Staff nurse, Senior Public Health Professional, and Chief Public Health Professional) and well engaged in clinical health care provision and community health interventions.

I have also worked for two local non-governmental organizations (ERCS and FIDO) as WATSAN Project Officer and HIV Prevention Project Officer respectively.

As of August 1, 2013, I have been working for Marie Stopes International Ethiopia, as Team Leader for Outreach Services (until May 2014); and currently, as Program Officer for FP/RH program activities in Bale Zone, Ethiopia.
