I received BSc in Nursing from Islamic Azad University/Iran and MSc and PhD in Maternity Nursing from Hawler Medical University/Kurdistan region/Iraq. I was member in the committee of establishing the College of Nursing in 2001 in mentioned university. I was Also the head of Midwifery Department in College of Nursing/Hawler Medical University, Erbil, Iraq, for seven years. I obtained and successfully implemented number of research and projects for improving nursing and midwifery care in Kurdistan region. I have more than 40 research papers in fields of nursing, midwifery, women’s health, heath services research, conflict and health in medical education in Iraqi Kurdistan contexts that have been published in well reputed and highly accessible journals. My scientific title upgraded to professor in August 2020. Participated in a training course about adolescent sexual and reproductive health in 2016. The mentioned training course was like a brainstorming idea for me to encourage my MSc students to conduct research on girl’s adolescent health. I supervised six MSc and one PhD students. Two theses of my MSc students were on adolescents’ health subject.
