GFMER Information Dissemination on Sexually Transmitted Infections

Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews

Antonio Carlos Gerbase - Director of GFMER HIV/AIDS and other Sexually Transmitted Infections Program

In the context of the GFMER information dissemination STI activities we are sharing all STI systematic reviews published by The Cochrane Collaboration.

The Cochrane Collaboration, an international network of more than 31,000 members from over 120 countries.

The network prepares, update and promote the accessibility of Cochrane Reviews – over 5,000 so far, published online in the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, part of The Cochrane Library.  They also prepare the largest collection of records of randomised controlled trials in the world, called CENTRAL, published as part of The Cochrane Library.

The Cochrane Collaboration, like GFMER, holds Official Relations with the WHO promoting evidence-based health care at the highest levels of international health care policy-setting.
