Dr. Biswajit Pal has 6 years of extensive experience in the field of research both in Social Science and Public Health. He has completed Post Graduation (M.Sc.) in Agriculture and Rural Development and has been awarded Ph.D in the same discipline last year in the topic - "Tribes in West Bengal". Presently he is working as the Assistant Director -Research and M&E at MANT, an organization of repute and he is responsible for all works related to public health and social science researches that are being conducted by the organization which includes research planning, research proposal development, sampling, data collection, data interpretation & analysis, report writing and publication of the same in peer reviewed journals. Till date he has been associated with 11 number of published articles published in peer reviewed journals. Previously he was appointed as a Guest Teacher in the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, West Bengal State University from the period 2012 to 2015. The Research works undertaken by him includes: Constraints of Agriculture; Socio-Economic Aspects of Some tribes in West Bengal, India; Maternal Health Status in West Bengal; Study on Health Profile of Beedi workers in West Bengal; Behaviour of Meat Consumers in West Bengal; Socio-economic Status of women engaged in Floriculture Activities; Compliance level of Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Product Act, 2003 in West Bengal; Success of Community Radio Station in Addressing Child Marriage in Purulia, West Bengal, India.
