I was born on the 21st September,1960 and obtained Masters in Public Administration from the University of Ado Ekiti, Nigeria. I graduated from the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria with a Bachelor of Science and Education in Health (Bsc. (ED) Health) and obtained Post graduate diploma in Midwifery Education from University of Ibadan, Nigeria. I also have a certificate training on Family planning from College of Medicine Lagos Teaching Hospital Idiaraba, Lagos, Nigeria. My Nursing and Midwifery were obtained from Baptist School of Nursing Eku, Delta State and Saki, Oyo State respectively.

Lecturer with the Federal Capital Territory School of Midwifery, Abuja, Nigeria. I am a researcher, and had taught OSCE, Foundation of Nursing, Family Planning and Normal Midwifery for several years. I supervise student Midwives, Registered Nurses and Midwives practicing in the community/urban Primary health sectors.

I am also a consultant, Master trainer for Nigerian Urban Reproductive Health Initiative (NURHI), National, Primary Health Care Development Authority (NPHCDA), Nigeria, Pathfinder Int. and Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM), and an examiner with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (N&MCN).

I write and I have authored the Book ”Fundamentals of OSCE, A Life Gate To Midwifery Practice” (a textbook in Midwifery). Several other publications on Midwifery and Nursing abound in journals and magazines to my credit.
