MBBS candidate (graduating August 2017), Olabisi Onabanjo University, Nigeria

Born on the 8th of December 1990, an MBBS candidate (2017). Attended a Certificate Course in Global Health in 2016. Took various leadership/management courses with the Young African Leaders Initiative organized by the Mandela Washington Fellowship. I was a participant at a training “Family Planning and Story Telling Using Videos” in 2017 organized by USAID/K4H/John Hopkins University. I also have some exposure to health research in HIV/AIDS and STIs. I speak to and counsel in-school adolescents on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights. I also drive awareness and utilization of family planning among youths. I have also attended a number of professional public health conferences all within Nigeria. Member, Young Professional and Student Assembly, Society for Public Health Professional of Nigeria (YP&S, SPHPN).
