I completed my undergraduation from India in 2016 as a MBBS doctor. I have worked for a year at Dr. B.L. Kapur Superspeciality Hospital and at Sharda Hospital as part of my internship. During this period, I was exposed to the latest medical technology and techniques in state of the art Superspeciality hospital at New Delhi. During this training period I also inculcated a deep interest in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and aspire to be a part of this field and contribute towards it in my future career.

As part of my undergraduate programme, I have worked on research projects and was actively involved in field visits. We did a nutritional and health assessment survey of school going children residing in the urban slum of Bhangel. I have participated in Chopal clinic and conducted health awareness talks for the village community as part of my rural training. I did a research project in collaboration with Department of Medicine and Department of Biochemistry at Sharda Hospital titled ‘Study of serum ceruloplasmin levels in hypertensive cohort’. I have attended various workshops on mental health, cancer and infection and also taken part in cancer awareness rally ‘I can win’. I have presented seminars on various topics during the course of my study period.

I am a passionate environmentalist as well and was part of the Environment Council and Club of my school. I have also represented my school at various national level forums and have been a part of cleanliness drives and tree plantation drives. I was nominated by my school to be a part of the UKERI project which was organized by British Petroleum. I have taught underprivileged children of various NGOs and have done community service. I am fluent in four languages and have worked in multicultural teams.
