I was born on the 25th of February 1976. I graduated from Abia State University Uturu with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S) and obtained a post-graduate certificate in Family Medicine in 2010 and 2015 respectively. I have also received clinical training and a postgraduate diploma in fertility medicine from Abuja based fertility consortium. I am a fellow with the West African College of Physicians and a member of global health trial, Nigeria faculty. I was a chief resident in the Family Medicine Department of National Hospital Abuja in 2009/and 2010. During my residency, I worked in PEPFAR clinic of National hospital Abuja.

Currently I train junior residents in family medicine. I have given health talks on reproductive health as part of ‘’women health series” on private television stations and radio programs. I have been part of the teams that developed protocols, standard operating procedures and trained state based emergency response teams in the early warning alert and response network (EWARN) set up by the Nigeria center for disease control.

I have assisted the monitoring and evaluation unit of the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Program (NTBLCP) of the Federal Ministry of Health in revising national surveillance procedures for tuberculosis and leprosy, midterm strategic plan for tuberculosis and leprosy control and protocols for management of pediatric tuberculosis.

Furthermore, I am a member of the management support team for polio immunization in Fct Abuja; I have led teams to enumerate missed nomadic settlements and immunize under-five children in these communities, and also conducted missed children and refusal studies in various states. I was one of the brains behind our winning of an international grant to organize a capacity building workshop at National Hospital Abuja on the 28th of January 2017.

I speak two languages and I have extensive travel experience.
