Dr. (Mrs.) Fatimat Akinlusi obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery Degree at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, emerging with the best overall performance in 1998. She subsequently had her post-graduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja and became a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons in 2010. Currently she practises as an Obstetrician/Gynaecologist at Ibeju-Lekki General Hospital.

She enjoys reading, travelling and gardening.
