Seid Ali, BSc in Public Health
Regional AYSRH Program Officer, Integrated Family Health Program, Pathfinder International-Ethiopia
I am Seid Ali currently working as a Regional Program Officer for the Integrated Family Health Program (IFHP) in Ethiopia which is a compressive program funded by USAID and implemented by Pathfinder International and John Snow Inc.
I have Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Debub University. I have more that six years of work experiences in a rural governmental health facility, local NGO and International NGO (Pathfinder International). Working in both governmental and non-government organizations allowed me to broaden my public health network, and gave me a more complete understanding of the importance, challenges as well as possible solutions in regard to sexual and reproductive health in the country.
I hope to continue my career in public health by earning my MPH, as well as my PhD, with an attention in sexual and reproductive health. This training program would help me by introducing to a range of sexual and reproductive health resources, training me in research methodology, and allowing me to build on my current breadth of knowledge in the field.
