Amr is a medical doctor with a master in Health Sciences, majoring in population and reproductive health. Amr is working as partnership advisor with the UNAIDS regional office for Middle East and North Africa. Before joining UNAIDS Amr was working as SRHR/HIV specialist in the African Union Commission. In the last ten years Amr has worked with different organizations include Management Sciences for Health (MSH)/USAID, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and UNFPA. Amr believes that research related to sexual and reproductive health is urgent need for Middle East and North Africa region considering lack of sexual education, conservative community and long period between maturity and marriage.
