I am a public health professional, Masters in Public health from University of Gondar since Aug 2008. Currently I am working at the capacity of Area Manager at Family Guidance association of Ethiopia since Jan 2011, a pioneer indigenous nongovernmental organization in Reproductive health services. In my current capacity I am managing comprehensive reproductive health service projects numbering more than 10 and implemented in 6 branch offices with a total of 75 staff.
From July 2008_Jan 2011 I have been working at Africana Medical and Research Foundation in two different capacities. From Jul 2008 to Jul 2009 I was a continuing education project coordinator for health professionals in Ethiopia, a new initiative. From July 2009 to Jan 20011 I was a project manager for a maternal and child health project funded by the European Union in the pastoral communities of Ethiopia.
From Jan 2005 to July 2008 I have been working in Hosanna Health Science College at the capacity of Instructor and Midwifery Department Head. Before that From Oct 2003 to Dec 2004 I have been head of health center, Alaba district, SNNPR where I have been responsible in coordinating clinical as well as public health services in the district.
