Marzieh Masjoudi, MSc in Midwifery

I was born and brought up in Rasht a northern city of Iran. My first name is Marzieh but my friends call me by my nick name ‘Mahshid’.
After graduating high school I was accepted in university entrance exam so moved to Tehran to study midwifery in Tehran University of medical science. After getting BA, I came back to my hometown Rasht. I worked as a midwife in state health centers for 3 years followed by a 3 year working in welfare organization.
In the year of 1999, I moved to Tehran again to continue my studies IN Iran University of medical science. I completed MSc. Degree in midwifery (maternal and child health attitude) and came back to Rasht in year 2003. From then I am working as an academic member of Azad University for midwifery group. I teach both practical and theoretical courses for nursing and midwifery students also family planning course for different fields.
I like to work with young generation and I feel really younger when I see my students. I also like to study and work on reproductive health especially about family planning, genetic counseling, HIV/AIDS and sexual health. I wish, this course help me in my career and academic or personal life.
